School Background:
A BRIEF HISTORY ABOUT SCHOOL: Deshbandhu Vidyalaya Girls’,Hindi Medium is a school for girls from secondary level to the higher secondary level in Chittaranjan,West Bengal. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. It is managed by the CLW under the Ministry of Railways. We have high expectations for all our students and are committed to finding and developing the talents the students possess in their academic progress and achievements. We have a talented and highly committed team of teachers who continually go the extra mile to ensure that students have every opportunity to become their best selves morally, Spiritually and emotionally. The school was setup to educate the children of CLW employees.

FACILITIES:-
COMPUTER LAB
The computer lab functions in the school with the objectives of teaching computer fundamentals to secondary and senior secondary level students, offering computer science as an optional subject at senior secondary level, and assisting the school administration.
MULTIPURPOSE HALL
THE hall is a hub of multifarious activities like starting from morning assemblies, Yoga, classes, Co- curricular activities, Cultural program, Quiz competition ,Hindi divas, farewell of teachers.
Spacious play ground
To create sound minds in the school body, considerable importance is given to the physical training of students . the P.T. has ingredients like yoga, mass drill displays etc. we are the champion in the inter school meet held at the Oval Ground Chittaranjan in 2015.
LIBRARY
Library with more than 1358 volumes of books, journals, newspapers, and periodicals. We have a variety of standard encyclopedias, dictionaries, and reference books on all topics at the school level.
